Logging in Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

Sign-in methods for Apple, Google, or Microsoft users

Updated over a month ago

Step 1. Select your Sign-in option

You can sign in to your DTA profile using SSO if you have an account with Apple, Google, or Microsoft:

Step 2. Continuing Sign-In

If you are already signed in to one of these applications on your device, select the corresponding SSO option to be automatically signed in to the DTA portal.

For example, if you are currently signed in to your Google account, select the Google SSO option, and your Google account credentials (username/Gmail and password) will be used to automatically authorise your DTA account access. If signed in to the application, you should now be signed in.

Step 3. Enter your email and password

If you're not signed in to the selected application, you will be redirected to that service and prompted to enter your account credentials.

For instance, if you choose the Google SSO option but aren't signed in to Google, you'll be asked to enter your Google credentials (username/email and password).

Available Single Sign-On Options:

Apple ID: This is the account you use for the Apple App Store and/or iTunes

Note: If you sign in with Apple ID and choose to "Hide my email," Apple will create a private email address like [email protected]. This isn't a valid email, so you won't be able to receive any emails if your profile is linked to it.

Google: Use your @gmail.com email address or an email linked to Google Workspace.

Microsoft: Use your @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or @live.com.au email address.

Important note for existing DTA account holders:

Your DTA profile is linked to your email address. To avoid creating multiple DTA accounts, use an SSO option with the same email address as your DTA profile.

For example, if you have a Gmail account and have already created a DTA account using email verification, you can use Single Sign-On to access the same account.
